In the past, additions here went in automatically and immediately. Over time, all the 'good' entries have been put in, and it's now been over a year since a truly valuable addition has been made. The bad additions, however, require an hour of work for the webmaster to 'clean up' the mess by hand...
So, new procedure:
If your suggested 'new' genre is reasonable, it will be added and this venue will be updated. The following will NOT be acceptable:
  • 'All' or 'Any' since A) no venue really does that and B)it won't work in the search engine anyway (Though we're happy to set your venue to have ALL the above genres selected if you really want that)
  • Call Us since that defeats the whole purpose of this system
  • Duplicates of existing genres, since that messes up the searching
