T.A. Vern's was a great place to play. The owner, Bob, killed himself in the mid 90's. His business partner tried to maintain, but to no avail. The place became a Comedy Club, then a hip-hop club. The building was renovated and is now a gas station/car wash/"Subway" sandwich shop.
